Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were left covered in chocolate after celebrating daughter Suri’s first birthday.
The couple held a birthday lunch for their entire family at their Los Angeles home on April 18 where they dined on pizza and cupcakes from Beverly Hills bakery Sprinkles.
A source told People magazine: “Suri is walking and talking.”
She was given a gym set for the backyard, a stack of books and some balls and dolls.
“Tom and Suri kicked the ball around the lawn during the party.
“By the end of the day Tom, Katie and Suri were wearing chocolate.”
The party was held in the garden, which was decorated with dragonfly and butterfly piñatas, as Katie recently revealed the birthday girl “loves being outside right now.”
Katie’s mom Kathy, 60, flew to California for the party, as did one of Tom’s sisters and nephews.
The night before Suri’s grandmothers - Kathy Holmes and Mary Lee Mapother South – were treated to dinner at an Italian restaurant.
