Tom Cruise and wife Katie Holmes have failed to land a $20 million apartment in New York City’s Dakota building, after it was sold to a mystery buyer. The pair were rumored to be interested in the 12-room home in The Dakota block, opposite Central Park. But current owner Juliana Curran Terian tells the New York Daily News, “The buyer wasn’t an actor or anyone like that.”
