According to sources, when the ‘Top Gun’ star lays his head down to sleep, he does so in a bed that costs more than some people make in an entire year.

The New York Daily News reports that Cruise and Holmes spent $50,000 for a Vividus mattress, which is billed as the “most exclusive bed in the world.”

What makes it so special? Well for starters it is made with “virgin steel” coils and filled with hand-teased horsehair, cotton, and wool. The Vividus, is assembled by hand at the Hästens workshop in Köping, Sweden.

Katie Holmes has reportedly developed an obsession with green tea flavoured low-calorie yoghurt and has been trying to get Victoria Beckham on the bandwagon too.

A source told the Daily Express: “She tells Victoria it is the closest thing to heaven and that she and Tom sit on the sofa getting seconds and thirds every night.”

“Apparently it has a slightly sour taste but is creamy. Each tub only has 20 calories so they can splurge and go mad together.”

It seems as well as bagging one of Hollywood’s hottest actors, Katie Holmes has managed to get her hands on the ultimate shopping accessory - an 18-carat white gold store card.

The 28-year-old mum-of-one is often seen out bending the plastic in LA’s finest boutiques.

Now she’s spent so much time at Beverly Hills retailer Neiman Marcus, she’s apparently reached the lofty heights of the store’s VIP status - the Chairman’s Circle.

Benefits include the glitzy store card, reports the Daily Star.

A friend is quoted as saying: “Katie probably spent close to a million dollars there last year. She’s earned the card.”

We wonder if Katie’s newest LA pal Victoria Beckham may be in line for a matching card after she moves across the pond with hubby David?

The duo have been spotted out hitting the shops together and have become firm fashion friends.

Katie Holmes and husband Tom Cruise come out to support lady of the hour Mary J. Blige at Celebrate Mary, a bash hosted by pals Jada and Will Smith at Hollywood club Boulevard 3 on Friday. Blige, an eight-time Grammy nominee, took home three awards at Sunday’s show.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes partied late into the night in Miami on Saturday.

The couple were among the star-studded crowd at the Ocean Drive magazine and MarketAmerica.com pre-Super Bowl party in South Beach, where Fergie and her Black Eyed Peas bandmate Will.i.Am kicked off the night’s concert.

Cruise pal Marc Anthony headlined the event, crooning several of his hit songs – plus a cover of “Hotel California.” Anthony was also joined onstage by his wife Jennifer Lopez, who sang with her hubby.

Cruise and Holmes – along with Cruise’s sister and his son Connor – rocked out in their seats on the side of the stage as Anthony and Lopez performed.

“She’s quite a dancer,” one partygoer said of Holmes. “They were really into the music.”

Other celebs at the concert included Scarlett Johansson, Matt Leinart, Tara Reid, Marlee Matlin, Leah Remini, Jeff Gordon, Joey Fatone and Stacy Keibler. When the show ended just after midnight, a huge fireworks display lit up the sky over the Atlantic Ocean.

Afterwards, the party shifted to South Beach’s hip lounge Mokai for the private CAA sports party. Cruise and Holmes danced to a mix of rock and hip-hop, including songs like “Sweet Home Alabama” – behind a wall of security guards.

Still, partygoers snapped photos of the affectionate couple, who kissed and cuddled as they danced. The pair, along with Connor, stayed at the club until nearly 2:00 a.m.

Also drawing attention at the party were Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo, who chatted with friends throughout the night.
