Katie Holmes wasn’t exactly happiest of all when she discovered she was going to be spending her fairytale honeymoon in the Maldives with her groom, Tom Cruise and his best man and mentor, Scientology leader David Miscavige.
The Cruise entourage had their stay on a luxury yacht cut short by a huge typhoon and returned to Los Angeles days earlier than expected.
Now Katie Holmes is insisting they have a second honeymoon in the New Year, and this time it will just be Mr and Mrs Cruise, with baby Suri staying at home with Tom’s sisters.
Tom Cruise will be flying his bride to the South Pacific island of Tahiti after Christmas, where they will stay at the $15000 a night Le Taha’a Private Island and Spa, Glamour reports.
“Tom has been extremely close to David Miscavige for years but I think he now realises he needs to have some time on his own with Katie. This will be the real honeymoon,” a source told UK’s Daily Mail.
