Hollywood hunk Tom Cruise’s wife Katie Holmes is enjoying maternal bliss. Showing off her post-baby figure in a strapless champagne-colored Armani dress, Holmes revealed the joys of motherhood.
“I love it! Suri is doing really, really well. She’s a beautiful little girl, and I feel so honored to be her mom, really,” she was quoted by People’s magazine, as saying. Holmes left 10-month old Suri at home with her sister-in-law Saturday night to attend a Giorgio Armani Prive fashion show in Beverly Hills to celebrate the man who designed her wedding dress. Their favorite mother-daughter activity is “a lot of walking around.”
“She loves just being outside right now,” she said. Soon, however, Mrs. Tom Cruise will be heading back to work. “I’m going to start a film in about a month and a half called Mad Money with Queen Latifah and Diane Keaton. I play a young girl whose part of three women who rob the Federal Reserve.”
Holmes says returning to work “will be another challenge but I have a wonderful, supportive husband and family, and it’s another project that were going to handle together and that’s part of the fun.”
While husband Tom was busy filming the night of the Oscar-eve fashion show, Holmes rubbed elbows with most of the nominees - including Cruise’s ex, Penelope Cruz, who posed for a photo with Holmes.

Hi katie…have wanted to write to you and Tom for ages, since this time last year in paris when he proposed (i think..not really keeping dates) anyway..how wonderful for you both to be still loving the fun & thrill of just being W each other. I was due at a sim date to you when you had Suri..but miscarried early, so love the fact that you did it,& under so much pressure!! You are ALL gorgeous and just good luck with it all. If you ever need sailors (ie my husband and I skipper & race boats at the mo sth east asia) and r ozzies, anyway..fact is enjoy your fab life…you are a star..living with a star..who had a beautiful beautiful child..take time out..and enjoy!!
